Connect ChatGPT

Add Darwin to ChatGPT as a custom MCP server, sign in, choose Full access or View only, and ask ChatGPT about your chat's results, leads and tests with @Darwin.

  • In Darwin: Integrations → AI assistants → Claude, ChatGPT & CursorOpen in Darwin
  • Updated

Add Darwin to ChatGPT and ask about your website chat in plain words. With full access, ChatGPT can also make changes for you.

  1. Copy Darwin's server URL

In Darwin, open Integrations and select Connect on the Claude, ChatGPT & Cursor card. Under Copy the server URL, select Copy. The URL is https://app.meetdarwin.ai/api/mcp.

Step 1, Copy the server URL, showing https://app.meetdarwin.ai/api/mcp with the Copy button highlighted.
  2. Add Darwin as a custom MCP server

In ChatGPT, open Plugins, select +, then Add custom MCP server. Name it Darwin, paste the server URL under Connection and choose OAuth. Select I understand and want to continue, then Create as a plugin.

  3. Sign in to Darwin and choose the access

ChatGPT sends you to Darwin. Sign in, check the Workspace (1), or select Switch to pick another. Choose Full access or View only (2) and select Connect ChatGPT (3). You go back to ChatGPT.

Darwin's connect screen: the Workspace marked 1, Full access and View only marked 2, and the Connect button marked 3.
  4. Ask a question

In a new chat, type @, pick Darwin, and ask for example "Which leads from this week haven't booked yet?"

If you can't add a server

Your ChatGPT plan, and your workspace's policies on a business plan, decide whether you can add custom MCP servers. If you don't see Add custom MCP server, ask your ChatGPT admin.

Good to know

  • View only reads results, conversations, leads, meetings and tests. Full access can also change knowledge, the agent's wording, look and chat buttons, opening tests, and switch the chat on or off. It never gets billing, your team or API keys.
  • Only an owner or admin can connect a workspace.
  • To disconnect, open Integrations → API → AI assistants and select Disconnect.
