How does starting free work?
Origin is our Free plan: $0 per month, with your first 5 meetings booked free. After those five, stay on Origin for $20 per meeting booked, billed monthly. There is no required tier upgrade. For example, your first 8 bookings cost $60: 5 free, then 3 at $20 each.
What counts as a billable meeting?
A meeting Darwin successfully books on your calendar, confirmed by your scheduling provider. Starting a chat or clicking a scheduling link does not count. Usage is based on bookings, not attendance.
Do I need a credit card to start?
No card is required for your first 5 bookings. Add a payment method to keep booking after they are used. If you do not add one, new booking offers pause; there is no automatic upgrade to a monthly paid tier.
Do the 5 free bookings reset each month?
No. They are included once per workspace. Unused free bookings carry forward; a new month or a plan change does not restart the allowance. After all five are used, Origin costs $20 per new booking. No bookings in a month means no usage charge.
What changes between plans?
Three things: the monthly fee and meeting rate, the number of pages Darwin optimizes, and whether the widget carries Darwin branding. Every plan has the same product features.
What does the page limit apply to?
The limit is how many pages Darwin runs autonomous opening experiments on: 10 on Origin, 40 on Adapt, 100 on Evolve, and 150 on Apex. It describes optimization coverage, not the number of meetings included in your plan.
Can I customize the chat on the Free plan?
Yes. Every plan includes the appearance editor for your colors, fonts, avatar, buttons, and layout. Origin and Adapt retain Darwin branding on the widget. Evolve and Apex remove it.
How should I use the calculator?
