Build on Darwin.Every lead, in your stack.Plug Darwin into anything.

Connect Darwin to your stack with the REST API, webhooks, browser SDK or MCP server.

Integrate Darwin with anything. Pull conversations, leads and meetings with a REST API, and get a signed webhook the moment one comes in.

Read conversations, contacts, meetings and quote requests, page by page.

Get a signed webhook when a lead, meeting or request comes in.

Give each key only the scopes its job needs.

Put your website’s agent behind your own app, Slack or voice bot. It answers with the knowledge, booking flow and rules it uses on your site.

Control the chat from your site’s code. The browser SDK comes with the embed. Open the chat from your own buttons, recognise signed-in visitors and fire a conversion when a meeting is booked.

Open the chat from any button, with the visitor’s first message already sent.

Paste styled chat buttons into Webflow, WordPress, Framer or your own HTML.

Sign a visitor’s email on your server, and the booking form fills itself in.

Pass plan, seats or account facts for the agent to use in its answers.

Listen for leads and bookings to fire your analytics conversions.

Personal links greet each prospect by name, filled in by your email tool.

Every write accepts an Idempotency-Key, so a retried request is applied once.

Run Darwin from your AI assistant. Connect Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor to Darwin’s MCP server. Ask how the chat did this week, find what it couldn’t answer and add the answers.

Find the questions your chat couldn’t answer, by asking in plain words.

Add the missing answer to the agent’s knowledge in the same conversation.

27 tools for results, conversations, knowledge, chat buttons and tests.

Sign in with OAuth and choose full access or view only.

Works in Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor and any client that speaks Streamable HTTP.

The read-only server offers only the tools that read, whatever the connection is allowed to do.

Read-only MCP / API reference

Everything in Darwin, in the API. Everything you can see in Darwin comes back as JSON, and the changes you make in Agent Studio and Experiments can be made from code.

We run our own site on it. The Chat with Darwin button on our homepage was made with Claude Code through Darwin’s MCP server.

Ready-made for the tools you use. Send leads to HubSpot, Salesforce or Slack through Zapier, or install the TypeScript SDK and build your own.

Developer questions, answered.

Is the API included on the free plan?

Yes. The REST API, webhooks, the browser SDK, the MCP server and the chat API are on every Darwin plan, including Free, with the same rate limits.

Where do I get an API key?

In Darwin, open Integrations → API and select Create key. Choose read only, full access or individual scopes. Darwin shows the key once, so store it where your server keeps its secrets. Only an owner or admin can create keys.

How do I check that a webhook came from Darwin?

Darwin signs every delivery with Standard Webhooks. Verify the signature and the timestamp with the TypeScript SDK’s Darwin.webhooks.verify, or any Standard Webhooks library, using the endpoint’s signing secret. Darwin retries a failed delivery with the same webhook-id, so dedupe on the event’s id.

What are the rate limits?

Limits apply per API key and are the same on every plan: 600 requests a minute. Requests that run a model, read a website or build an export have a smaller budget of their own: 30 a minute.

Can Claude or ChatGPT change my agent?

Only if you allow it. When you connect an assistant you choose Full access or View only, and only an owner or admin can approve the connection. The read-only server address offers only the tools that read.
