How Darwin handles account information, website conversations, and connected services.

Updated 2026-09-14

Who operates Darwin

Darwin is operated by Super Signal LLC ("Darwin," "we," or "us"), 1309 Coffeen Avenue STE 1200, Sheridan, WY 82801, United States. This policy covers our website and app. Questions or privacy requests can be sent to [email protected]. When a customer installs Darwin on its own website, that customer decides which information its assistant collects and is responsible for its own visitor privacy notice. Darwin processes those conversations to provide the service to that customer.

Information we collect

Account information includes your name, email, workspace, authentication records, selected plan, and billing status. Website-assistant data includes the pages and documents you provide, assistant settings, visitor messages, contact details a visitor submits, page and conversation events, and booking outcomes. Technical records help us operate, secure, and troubleshoot the service.

Google sign-in

If you choose Google sign-in, we use your basic Google identity, including your email address and profile information, to authenticate you and associate you with your Darwin account. Google identity information is stored through our authentication and account systems and used for account access and related service communications. We do not use Google sign-in data for targeted advertising or training general-purpose AI models. Google sign-in does not grant Darwin access to your Gmail messages or Google Calendar. Scheduling permissions are handled separately through the scheduling provider you connect.

How the information is used

We use information to create and protect accounts, build the assistant from your business information, answer visitor questions, arrange meetings, measure results, and test chat openings within the customer’s workspace. We also use it to provide support, process payments, detect abuse, and meet applicable obligations. Customer-controlled settings and integrations determine which parts of the service run.

Service providers and integrations

Our infrastructure includes Supabase for authentication and databases, Railway for application hosting, Cloudflare for website delivery and monitoring, and Resend for account emails. Stripe handles payment details and subscriptions. Firecrawl processes website content for onboarding and knowledge imports. OpenRouter and the model providers selected through it process content needed for AI features. Connected Calendly or RevenueHero services receive the information needed to arrange and verify meetings. Our documentation is hosted by Mintlify.

Payments

Payment information is entered through Stripe. Darwin stores billing references, subscription status, invoice references, and usage records; our application does not store your full card number. Verified bookings are used to calculate included and billable usage.

Cookies and browser storage

The app uses cookies for authentication and workspace sessions. The website chat uses browser storage and identifiers to maintain conversation state and attribute activity and bookings. A website owner should describe its use of Darwin in its own notice and apply any consent controls its visitors require.

Retention and deletion

We retain account and workspace information as needed to provide the service and maintain its security, resolve billing questions, and meet applicable recordkeeping obligations. Retention depends on the kind of information and its purpose; there is no single automatic expiry for all workspace data. To request account closure or deletion, email [email protected]. We review verified requests, identify any information that must be retained, and explain the next steps. Backup copies may remain until they are replaced through the backup cycle.

Security and access

Darwin uses encrypted connections, authenticated access, workspace isolation, and restricted server access to protect information. Scheduling credentials are encrypted before database storage. Access is limited to the functions needed to run and support the service. No service can guarantee absolute security.

Your choices and requests

You can update assistant content and settings, disconnect scheduling integrations, and manage your subscription in the app. Contact [email protected] about accessing, correcting, exporting, or deleting personal information. If you used a customer’s website assistant, contact that website owner first so the request can be matched to the correct workspace. We may need to verify a request before acting on it.

Emails and your preferences

We send account, security, service, and billing emails needed to run your workspace. Optional setup guidance and product updates use your marketing preference. You can change notification preferences in the app or use the unsubscribe link in an optional email. Opting out of marketing does not stop essential account or billing messages.

Where information is processed

Darwin is operated in the United States and uses the service providers described above. Information may be processed in the United States and other countries where those providers operate. Contact [email protected] for questions about your information, the providers involved, or rights available under the law that applies to you.
