Zoom is the video link, not the booking. Connect the Zoom account that hosts your calls and choose Zoom as the video call in your Google Calendar booking rules. Each new booking then arrives with a Zoom meeting instead of Google Meet; the link sits in the invitation and on the event. Cancel the booking and Darwin removes the Zoom meeting too. Calendly users need no connection at all: pick a Calendly meeting type with a Zoom location and Calendly adds the link.

Your visitor needs no Zoom account. There is no waiting room either, so someone who arrives early is already in the room when you join.

Cancel the booking in Google Calendar and the Zoom meeting goes with it. Nothing lingers in your upcoming meetings list.

Connect Zoom.
Sign in to the Zoom account your calls run from and approve what Zoom asks for. Darwin keeps the connection; you do not touch it again.

Choose Zoom in your booking rules.
On the Google Calendar setup page, set the video call to Zoom and save.

The visitor picks a time and confirms. Google mails the invitation with the Zoom link in it; the meeting is already in your Zoom list, and in Darwin.

Zoom integration questions.
Does Zoom book the meeting?
No. Google Calendar books it. Zoom supplies the video link for that booking, created in your account at the moment the visitor confirms.
Does the visitor need a Zoom account?
No. Everything they need, the join link and the passcode, is in the invitation, and there is no waiting room. Someone who turns up early is simply in the room before you.
I use Calendly. Do I need this?
No. Give the Calendly meeting type a Zoom location and Calendly puts the link in itself. This connection is for meetings booked through Google Calendar, nothing else.
What if Zoom cannot create the meeting?
The booking still goes through, just without a video link, and the Zoom card in Darwin tells you what went wrong. Fix the connection, then open that event in Google Calendar and add a link yourself.
