Self-improving
Opening experiments run for you.
SendPulse is a marketing suite where chatbots and website live chat sit next to email, with AI models you can plug in. Darwin is a single-purpose website chat that books meetings and keeps improving its openings. Here's how they compare.
Opening experiments run for you.
Your website becomes your starting point.
Try Darwin with included bookings.
For a small business that wants bots on WhatsApp, Instagram, Telegram and its website under one bill priced by subscriber count, SendPulse covers a lot of ground. Darwin is for a team with a narrower need: the chat on the website has to turn into meetings, and nobody has time to build flows. The rows below show how they differ on automation, setup and price.
How each product improves the openings that start sales conversations.

Turn website visits into sales meetings.
Chatbots and live chat across messengers and web, inside a marketing suite.
There's a free tier with three chatbots, 500 subscribers and 10,000 messages a month, no card required, with SendPulse branding on the widget. Pro removes the branding, lifts the limits and is priced by how many subscribers you have. Darwin has no monthly fee on Origin and charges per booked meeting.
57Sort of. On a paid plan you can connect OpenAI or Claude to a bot, write it instructions with your company details and FAQs, attach files, and switch on web search if you want. The quality depends on the prompt you write. Darwin's assistant answers from your website and whatever knowledge you add, and you don't have to write a prompt to get it going.
312Not in the guides we read. Flows are built from elements and templates, and SendPulse's own advice is to watch conversations and fix prompts by hand. Darwin does that watching for you: it drafts opening variants per page, tests them against each other, keeps the winner and queues up the next test.
123Published by Darwin, using the official documentation linked below. This is a comparison of documented capabilities, not a hands-on benchmark. “Not documented” means the reviewed sources do not establish that capability; it does not prove absence. SendPulse prices its chatbots by subscriber count and connects AI models on paid plans; a subscriber or message is not a booked meeting. Darwin bills for booked meetings. Setup means preparing a draft, not automatically installing it.
