THE SIDE-BY-SIDE

The difference,
at a glance.

Tidio gives small teams a lot for the money: an inbox, tickets, Flows and the Lyro agent. Darwin is narrower on purpose. It books meetings from your website and spends every day getting better at that one job. Here's how the automation, setup and pricing line up.

THE DARWIN DIFFERENCE

Your chat works on getting better.

Darwin keeps trying new openings on the pages you allow it to, and it keeps the ones that get visitors talking and booking. You don't run the tests. You just show up to the meetings.

A LITTLE MORE DETAIL

Before you
make the move.

Can Tidio's Lyro book meetings?

Sort of. Lyro can hand a visitor a Calendly link using the Book a call Action template, but you need a Calendly token and a Plus, Premium or eligible Lyro AI Agent plan. Darwin offers a time through whichever scheduler you've connected. With either tool, check what the provider counts as a completed booking.

3811
Does Tidio learn from my website?

Yes. Paste your URLs into Lyro's data sources and it will answer from those pages, plus any Q&A you upload. Darwin reads your site as well, then takes the next step: it drafts your business settings, pulls your brand colors and writes a first opening from what it found.

34
Is Tidio free?

Tidio has a free plan with 50 billable conversations a month, 100 Flows visitors and 50 lifetime Lyro conversations, with Tidio branding on the widget. Paid plans start at $29 a month; removing the branding is a $20 a month add-on on Starter and Growth.

57
Does Tidio test different chat openings?

Not in the Flows and Lyro guides we reviewed. Your first flow is written during signup and edited by you in the flow editor. Darwin writes opening variants per page, tests them, keeps the better one and starts the next test.
