vs

More meetings. Less managing.

Zoho SalesIQ bundles live chat, visitor tracking and chatbots into the Zoho suite for a few dollars per operator. Darwin does one thing, booking meetings from your website, and works on it every day. Here's how they compare.

THE SIDE-BY-SIDE

The difference,
at a glance.

If your business already runs on Zoho, SalesIQ is the obvious chat to switch on, and it's cheap per operator. If the chat needs to book meetings from your marketing site while nobody is watching the dashboard, Darwin was built for exactly that. Below: how each improves over time, what setup involves, and what you'll pay.

THE DARWIN DIFFERENCE

Your chat works on getting better.

Darwin keeps trying new openings on the pages you allow it to, and it keeps the ones that get visitors talking and booking. You don't run the tests. You just show up to the meetings.

Less suited to

  • Teams that need visitor tracking and chat tied into Zoho CRM.

Chat and visitor tracking for businesses that run on Zoho.

Good fit for

  • Zoho CRM and Zoho Desk customers adding chat.
  • Small teams that want a free plan for three operators.
  • Sales teams that watch live visitors and jump into chats.

Less suited to

  • Teams that want openings tested and improved without manual work.

A LITTLE MORE DETAIL

Before you
make the move.

Can Zoho SalesIQ book appointments from chat?

With Zoho Bookings connected, an operator can click Appointments and share a link, and the visitor books from inside the chat. Zoho also says Zobots can schedule appointments. Darwin offers a time in the conversation and completes the booking in whichever scheduler you've connected. With both, check what gets recorded as a finished booking.

Does Zoho's Answer Bot learn from my website?

You can add webpages, along with articles and FAQs, as resources for the Answer Bot, and test it in the preview window before going live. Darwin reads your site too, then drafts your business settings, brand colors and first opening from it.

24
Is Zoho SalesIQ free?

There's a Free plan with three operators, 100 chat sessions and 10,000 tracked visitors a month. Paid plans start at $10 per operator per month on monthly billing and include one chatbot; Professional and Enterprise raise that to five and ten, and Answer Bot needs Enterprise.

7
Does Zoho SalesIQ test different chat openings?

Not in the guides we reviewed. The welcome message and bot greetings are written by you and shown when a condition is met. Darwin writes opening variants for each page, tests them, keeps the better one and starts the next test.

This is a comparison of documented capabilities, not a hands-on benchmark. “Not documented” means the reviewed sources do not establish that capability; it does not prove absence. Zoho SalesIQ prices are per operator on monthly billing and chatbots are limited by plan; a chat session is not a booked meeting. Setup means preparing a draft, not automatically installing it.
