# Darwin brand files

Keep the logo in proportion and leave clear space around it. Use plum on light backgrounds and paper or white on dark ones. The bird inside the D stays transparent; it takes the color of the background.

Use the wordmark as supplied; its D is already part of the name.

Use the supplied wordmark or icon when writing about Darwin. Keep the original
shape, spacing and colors. These files identify Darwin; do not use them to imply
an endorsement or partnership.

Need a larger image? Choose an SVG. The PNGs come in several sizes; the file name
tells you which one you have. Keep the padding around the mark, including when
you crop an avatar to a circle.

Folders in the logo and icon pack:
- svg/ — vector marks, wordmarks and tiles
- png/ — transparent marks, wordmarks and tiles in multiple sizes
- social/ — avatars with room for circular cropping
- web/ — favicon, Apple touch icon, PWA and pinned-tab files
- apple/ — conventional PNG AppIcon asset catalog
- android/ — launcher, adaptive and monochrome icon resources
- desktop/ — macOS and Windows icon formats

If your site already has a web manifest, keep it. Copy in the icon entries from
this pack and update the URLs to point to wherever you put the files. The
snippets are a starting point, so check them against your app before shipping.

Add the Apple and Android resources to your existing app project.
