# Connect Cursor

Add Darwin to Cursor with Add to Cursor or a line in mcp.json, sign in, choose Full access or View only, and ask about your chat's results, leads and tests from Cursor.

This is the Markdown version of https://www.meetdarwin.ai/help/ai-and-browser/cursor, published by Darwin and generated on 23 October 2026.

Find it in Darwin: Integrations → AI assistants → Claude, ChatGPT & Cursor (https://app.meetdarwin.ai/admin/settings/integrations/mcp). Updated Oct 13, 2026.

Add Darwin to Cursor and ask about your website chat while you work, or have Cursor update your agent's knowledge and wording with full access.

1. **Select Add to Cursor**

   In Darwin, open **Integrations** and select **Connect** on the **Claude, ChatGPT & Cursor** card. Under **Connect your assistant**, select **Add to Cursor**. Cursor opens and adds Darwin.

2. **Sign in from Cursor's MCP settings**

   Open **Cursor Settings → MCP** and select **Connect** (or **Needs login**) next to Darwin.

3. **Sign in to Darwin and choose the access**

   Cursor sends you to Darwin. Sign in, check the **Workspace** (1), or select **Switch** to pick another. Choose **Full access** or **View only** (2) and select **Connect Cursor** (3). You go back to Cursor.

4. **Ask a question**

   In Cursor's chat, ask for example _"Using Darwin, what did visitors ask about most this week?"_

## Add Darwin by hand

Instead of **Add to Cursor**, add Darwin to `~/.cursor/mcp.json`, then sign in from **Cursor Settings → MCP**:

```json
{
  "mcpServers": {
    "darwin": { "url": "https://app.meetdarwin.ai/api/mcp" }
  }
}
```

## Good to know

- **View only** reads results, conversations, leads, meetings and tests. **Full access** can also change knowledge, the agent's wording, look and chat buttons, opening tests, and switch the chat on or off. It never gets billing, your team or API keys.
- Only an owner or admin can connect a workspace.
- To disconnect, open **Integrations → API → AI assistants** and select **Disconnect**.
